Do you know a good grocery supplier?
Is anyone else noticing a massive spike in wholesale ingredient costs across the metro area? Our margins are getting squeezed tightly, so I'm shopping around for a new commercial grocery distributor to see if we can optimize our bulk purchasing. We need premium frozen goods, oils, and packaging materials but the local mid-tier distributors are charging absolute premium prices now. I'd love to know if switching vendors helped anyone cut down food costs recently without losing quality.

Food inflation is hitting everyone hard, but changing your distributor is definitely the right move to survive it. We audited our expenses last quarter and realized our boutique vendor was heavily overcharging on basic dry goods. We renegotiated and moved our contract to a larger Sydney cafe supplier with better purchasing power. Our monthly overhead dropped immediately by about twelve percent without sacrificing any of the core ingredients our kitchen relies on.
